GRAMS AI Spectroscopy Software
Unified data visualization, processing, and management for UV-Vis, FTIR, Raman, NIR, NMR, GC-MS, LC-MS, and combined spectroscopy techniques.
Overview
Thermo Scientific GRAMS AI™ Spektroskopie-Software is an industry-standard platform for the visualisation, processing, and management of spectroscopy data. Designed for laboratories and large research organisations working across multiple instrument types, it eliminates the need for separate software packages for each device by providing a single, fully integrated environment for data management and analysis.
The core application, GRAMS/AI, serves as the centrepiece of a comprehensive suite of complementary productivity applications. It streamlines data access, facilitates scientific collaboration across an organisation, and significantly reduces overall software training costs. The platform supports data from virtually every type of analytical instrument, including UV-Vis, Fluorescence, FTIR, Raman, NIR, NMR, GC-MS, LC-MS, and LC-PDA.
Instrument and File Format Compatibility
- Automatically recognises hundreds of different instrument file formats and can be directly connected via the My Instrument interface for full instrument control and data acquisition
- Compatible with data files from hundreds of instrument control applications, including those from Agilent/HP, Beckman, Bio-Rad, Bruker, Gilson, Hitachi, PerkinElmer, Shimadzu, Varian, Waters/Micromass, and others
- Supports common general data formats including SPC, ASCII, JCAMP, and AnDI/NetCDF
- Uses the universal SPC file format for data storage, enabling scientists to easily share data with colleagues and analyse it directly at their workstations
- Supports data exchange with Microsoft Excel, real-time visualisation of large datasets via GRAMS/3D, and access to data from other GRAMS applications such as Spectral DB databases and Spectral ID library searches
User Interface and Ease of Use
- Intuitive interface allows users to quickly navigate open data files, retrieve key file information, and access parameter settings with a single mouse click
- Enables users to create customised workspaces for displaying, reporting, and processing their data
- Includes an extensive library of integrated data processing routines alongside advanced data comparison and visualisation capabilities
- Provides the tools needed to solve highly complex analytical problems
Enterprise-Wide Collaboration and Productivity
- Enables large research institutions to increase efficiency through shared data processing software and organisation-wide data access
- Reduces the need for multiple software training programmes by consolidating spectroscopic analysis into one unified platform
