Web Annotation
Review, annotate, and collaborate on digital content in its native format without PDFs or screenshots.
Overview
Vodori's Web Annotation module is a digital content review tool designed for life science teams that need to review, annotate, and collaborate on web-based content in its native, interactive format. It addresses a common problem in promotional and medical content review: teams taking screenshots of websites or apps to route for approval, which is time-consuming and introduces compliance risk because interactive elements and link destinations are difficult to capture accurately.
The module sits on top of web content without requiring integration, allowing reviewers to work directly with draft or live pages. By removing the dependency on PDFs and screenshots, it aims to reduce review cycle times and support compliant digital content workflows across life science organizations.
Streamlining Review and Approval
- Supports review of content in-layout, removing the need to convert web pages to PDFs
- Configurable workflows allow web-based content to be routed to specific review groups or audiences
- Web pages can be automatically published upon approval
Reducing Compliance Risk
- Reviewers can leave comments and annotations in-context, associated with specific interactive elements on the page
- Supports review of interactive components such as rotators and accordions, ensuring all elements are covered
- Reviewers can follow and review link destinations directly within the review environment
Upload and Audit Capabilities
- Any digital content with a unique URL can be routed for review
- The review process can be initiated with a single click
- Screenshots of content are automatically captured after approval, supporting auditing, comparison, or health authority submission purposes
Web Annotation is part of the broader Vodori platform, which also includes workflow management, claims and evidence management, digital asset management, cross-channel publishing, and reporting and analytics. The platform is built to meet GxP, quality, and compliance requirements, and is designed with enterprise-grade security for life science organizations across pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, diagnostics, nutrition, and animal health.
