At the core of the platform is SOPHiA CarePath®, which serves as the integrated environment for multimodal data harmonization, visualization, patient cohorting, and predictive analytics. The SOPHiA DDM™ Multimodal harmonization engine standardizes data from different models and multiple centers, enabling meaningful research hypothesis generation and collaboration across institutions.

Key Platform Functions
- Visualization: SOPHiA CarePath® enables the visualization of longitudinal patient data, including routine imaging. This capability is demonstrated through the DEEP-Lung-IV international observational study, which combines real-world clinical, biological, genomic, and radiomic data to identify predictive treatment response signatures in stage IV non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
- Cohorting: Real-world data is standardized and harmonized, with cohorting capabilities leveraged to generate novel research hypotheses, as demonstrated in the DEEP-Lung-IV study.
- Prediction: In collaboration with UroCCR, the French Kidney Cancer Research Network, SOPHiA GENETICS developed a machine learning model for predicting kidney cancer recurrence. The resulting UroPredict calculator predicts the probability of disease-free survival and assigns patients to a recurrence risk group.
