FDNA's Patient Engagement Tools is an integrated, patient-centric online platform designed for genetic specialists. It streamlines access to diagnostic services by connecting geneticists with patients who have already completed an AI-based initial assessment, including facial analysis, through FDNA's Family Health Checker app. The platform is currently available only in the US.

The tool allows genetic specialists to receive pre-assessed patient data, including image analysis reports and findings, shared via Face2Gene upon patient approval. This approach is intended to accelerate the intake process, reduce time to diagnosis, and improve clinical efficiency for geneticists and their teams.

How the Patient Intake Process Works

1. Parents or patients use the free Family Health Checker app: The app uses AI-powered image analysis and a multi-modal AI framework to help identify important health conditions. After completing the assessment, users are presented with a select list of trusted health services to support their diagnostic and therapeutic journey.
2. Patients are connected with trusted genetic specialists: FDNA's algorithm framework analyzes the information provided, including image analysis results, to generate outcomes that can aid in expediting the genetic diagnosis and onboarding process.
3. Geneticists receive comprehensive patient details: Using the qualified patients list, specialists can spend more time on clinical work. The intake process is streamlined to provide a smooth transition and a complete picture of each patient ahead of their appointment.

Platform Access and Integration

• Patient evaluation data, including image analysis reports, is shared with geneticists via the Face2Gene platform, subject to patient approval.
• Access to the platform requires an application; FDNA's team contacts applicants to activate their account.
