Overview

Mindpeak Esophagus PD-L1 is a stand-alone software module developed by Mindpeak GmbH for automated analysis of digital histopathology images from PD-L1-stained esophageal squamous cell carcinoma tissue samples. It is intended for Research Use Only and is not for use in diagnostic procedures. The tool is designed to assist cancer researchers and pathologists by automating the detection and quantification of PD-L1 expression in esophageal cancer cells, reducing the burden of manual cell counting and scoring tasks.

The software operates as a "0-Click" solution: using background image pre-calculation, all detected and classified cells are instantly visualised upon loading a digital slide, requiring no manual initiation of the analysis. Mindpeak Esophagus PD-L1 was developed with lab-specific variations in mind — including differences in slide preparation, staining, and imaging — to provide consistent results across different laboratory environments.
