Life Sciences Clinical Dataset
Real-world clinical dataset from long-term care facilities with 50+ daily data points per patient for health economics research, trial feasibility, and post-market surveillance.
Overview
The PointClickCare Life Sciences Clinical Dataset is a regulatory-grade, real-world clinical dataset drawn from long-term care facilities across the United States. It is designed for life sciences researchers and organizations seeking longitudinal, granular patient health data on the aging population, including data on epidemiology, treatment patterns, and patient outcomes.
Unlike datasets that capture only discrete events or instances of care, this dataset reflects continuous monitoring of all residents within PointClickCare Life Sciences facilities. It covers more than 10 million patients aged 65 and older over a period of more than 10 years, with over 50 data points collected per patient per day and an average long-stay length of 874 days. Because seniors are frequently underrepresented in clinical trials due to comorbidities and unique circumstances, this dataset is positioned to help fill evidence gaps for research into the aging population, which is projected to more than double by 2050.
