Inniti Platform
Equipment connectivity middleware that links any lab instrument to LIMS, ELN, or data systems, including legacy devices.
Overview
The Inniti Platform is a SaaS middleware solution designed to connect any laboratory instrument to LIMS, ELN, SDMS, and other data processing systems — including legacy devices. Built for life science and biotech companies operating complex, multi-vendor lab environments, Inniti acts as a manufacturer-agnostic bridge that collects, standardises, and structures instrument data in line with FAIR principles, eliminating manual data transfer and enabling full lab digitalisation.
Inniti is purpose-built for labs that manage instruments from multiple manufacturers, including older models with limited or no built-in connectivity (RS-232, CSV, USB, or even paper-based output). With a library of over 3,300 connected instruments and continuously expanding driver support, the platform is compatible with equipment from leading manufacturers including Thermo Fisher, Agilent, Mettler Toledo, Danaher, Roche, Zeiss, and many more — ranging from fermenters, pumps, scales, sensors, and probes to complex bioreactors and chromatography systems.
Core Platform Capabilities
- Control & Automate: Enables two-way communication between the Inniti platform and connected instruments, allowing full automation and monitoring of continuous lab processes from anywhere at any time. Conditional workflows can be configured to reduce key person dependency and ease day-to-day workloads.
- Track & Trace: Provides automated, granular sample tracking throughout the entire lab process — from sample preparation to final analytical results — without requiring manual note-taking or paperwork.
- Lab Monitoring: Offers smart monitoring of all connected instruments, with personalised output monitoring and configurable alarms based on live instrument data, helping to reduce energy costs and optimise operations.
- Data Integration: Securely transfers data from instruments to existing ELN, LIMS, or any data processing software via API, eliminating the need for USB sticks or manual data exporting.
Key Use Cases
- Automatic data logging and sample tracking: Automates data capture across the full lab workflow, removing tedious paperwork and manual recording steps.
- Automation of continuous processes: Sets up conditional workflows for ongoing processes, reducing reliance on individual staff members and streamlining operations.
- LIMS and ELN data transfer: Automatically pushes instrument data into existing laboratory information systems, ensuring data integrity and traceability.
- QC lab optimisation: As demonstrated in the Aquaporin A/S case study, Inniti has delivered a 300% increase in QC testing capacity through improved data logging and connectivity.
