IBDExplore
AI-powered histopathology analysis quantifying inflammatory microenvironment from H&E whole slide images for IBD research.
Overview
IBDExplore™ is an AI-powered histopathology panel developed to advance the next generation of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) therapies. By analyzing H&E-stained whole slide images (WSI), IBDExplore spatially characterizes the inflammatory microenvironment, delivering comprehensive, quantitative insights that support clinical development and research workflows. It is intended for research use only and is not for use in diagnostic procedures.
Currently built and fully assessed on Ulcerative Colitis biopsies, IBDExplore is designed for pharmaceutical and biotech teams seeking scalable, data-rich pathology solutions to fuel clinical development insights across patients, timepoints, and scientific hypotheses. The platform has also been qualitatively assessed in Crohn's Disease, with options available to extend its application to resection samples.
Core Capabilities
- Identify: Automated, rapid, and scalable classification across 12 distinct tissue regions and 10 cell types within the inflammatory microenvironment.
- Quantify: Generation of more than 1,000 human interpretable features (HIFs) that spatially quantify cells and tissue regions across whole slide images.
- Apply: Comprehensive data output directly enables analysis across patients, timepoints, and diverse research hypotheses to fuel clinical development insights.
