ACE Intelligence

ACE Intelligence is an AI-powered workflow tool built into the ACE platform by PSC Software, designed for life sciences organizations managing quality and compliance processes. It applies large language models (LLMs) to structured and unstructured data within ACE, enabling teams to generate insights, draft documents, and streamline recurring tasks across quality management, regulatory, and operational functions.

The product is built on Anthropic AI's LLMs running within the AWS environment, and is designed to keep customer data within the ACE environment, follow existing user permissions, and avoid using customer data to train shared AI models.

Core Features

• AI Assistant: Supports unlimited AI queries across structured and unstructured ACE data. Users can summarize CAPAs, analyze audit findings, and generate insights from complex records directly within the platform.
• Prompt Studio: Allows users to create reusable prompt templates for recurring tasks. Templates integrate with the Data Model Builder to incorporate structured and unstructured data models, enabling standardized, context-aware prompts without coding expertise.
• Intelligent Content Assistance: Embeds AI capabilities into rich text editor fields within ACE. Users can generate contextually relevant content, ask questions grounded in their ACE data, and receive responses that support document creation and record summarization.
• Data Model Builder: Enables users to create and structure data models that give the AI deeper contextual understanding of ACE records, supporting accurate responses across both structured and unstructured data types.
• Assistant Personas: Allows configuration of the AI Assistant's communication style and expertise focus. Default options include a "Quality Assurance Professional" persona to align responses with industry standards.
• Text Transformations: Provides the ability to adjust the tone or style of AI-generated responses, such as formal language for regulatory submissions or concise summaries for internal use.

• Standard Operating Procedure Drafting: Creates or refines SOPs for laboratories, manufacturing, or quality assurance processes.
• Audit Preparation: Compiles and organizes documents required for audits and generates summaries of key findings and gaps.
• Training Content Creation: Develops training materials for staff covering compliance updates, new equipment, or laboratory techniques.
• CAPA Recommendations: Generates actionable suggestions for Corrective and Preventive Actions based on trends identified in quality event data.
• Clinical Trial Insights: Analyzes clinical trial data to identify trends, flag potential risks, and summarize findings for stakeholders.
• Supply Chain Risk Analysis: Evaluates supplier performance data and identifies potential risks to supply chain continuity.

Access Controls and Governance

• AI features are inactive by default and must be explicitly enabled at the module, user permission, or feature configuration level.
• Access inherits ACE platform controls including tenant isolation, role-based access controls, and authenticated user access.
• Only contextual information required to generate a response is sent to the AI infrastructure; customer data is not used to train shared AI models.
• Optional audit controls allow organizations to review AI prompts and responses for governance and responsible usage purposes.

ACE Intelligence is deployed within the existing ACE platform environment, meaning it operates under the same enterprise security and permission structures already in place for ACE users. No coding expertise is required to use its features, and all AI capabilities are accessible through the standard ACE interface.
