IQVIA and Veeva Systems have announced an enhancement of their partnership aimed at accelerating the efficiency of clinical trials.

The updated collaboration incorporates Veeva's suite of trial management tools, including Veeva CTMS, eTMF, Study Startup, and Site Connect, as standardized applications for IQVIA's clinical development projects. This strategic alignment is designed to streamline processes and improve the overall speed of clinical trials.

The partnership initially began in August 2025, when the two companies, previously seen as competitors, decided to collaborate on various clinical and commercial initiatives. This earlier agreement facilitated the integration of their data across platforms, allowing IQVIA to join Veeva's Technology, AI, and Services Partner programs, as well as its CRO Clinical Data Partner program.

This expansion is expected to enhance the operational synergy between the two companies, enabling clinical teams to work more cohesively through improved technology integration. According to Richard Staub from IQVIA, this collaboration aims to accelerate the delivery of innovative treatments to patients. Veeva's CEO, Peter Gassner, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the commitment to enhancing product and service integration for better patient access to new therapies.
