PIMikroMove
Software for controlling PI positioning systems with intuitive interfaces, graphic visualizations, and automation features, supporting multiple axes and controllers.
Overview
PIMikroMove is a comprehensive motion control software designed to interact seamlessly with all PI controllers. It provides an intuitive user interface and graphic visualizations, facilitating the setup and parameterization of positioning systems without requiring additional programming efforts. The software supports a wide range of tasks, allowing users to control PI's positioning systems regardless of the drive principle or the configuration of axes.
All connected controllers and axes are displayed in a consistent graphical interface, enabling the control of several axes using different controllers within the same window. Users can manage the motion of two or more independent axes via mouse or joystick, even for vector moves.
Key Features
- Movement control with various functions such as step, open-loop/closed-loop, sine, trajectory, and triggered options.
- A function generator for creating user-defined motion profiles and synchronized multi-axis operations.
- A data recorder for saving and analyzing system data, offering fast visualization and precise analysis.
- Development and execution of GCS-based host macros, allowing one macro to address multiple controllers.
- Tuning tools for digital piezo controllers and execution of host-PC-based 1D or 2D scans with result visualization.
- Parametrization and execution of alignment algorithms with data display.
- PITerminal for GCS command interaction with controllers.
The software includes a data recorder that simplifies the analysis of measurement data by storing and displaying data from various sources over time. It supports precise storage of fast operations, with configurable data sources and triggers.
Data Sources
- Commanded and current axis positions.
- Axis velocity and acceleration.
- Motor output voltage per axis.
- Status information and analog input voltage.
- System-relevant internal signals.
Recorded data is displayed in the data recorder window, allowing for immediate analysis. The software supports cursor and measurement functions, zoom capabilities, and filter and analysis functions like FFT and algebra. Users can export data in formats such as *.csv or as graphics files.
The Piezo Dynamic Tuner feature allows users to determine frequency and step response, configure servo parameters, and perform statistical analysis. It supports importing and exporting measured data and offers direct access to control and filter parameters.
Additionally, the software includes the PIFRF-Analyzer for dynamic characterization of motion systems and the PIStages3Editor for managing stage parameters of motorized positioners.
