PathcoreUnity serves as a DICOM compliant Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) tailored for digital pathology workflows. It is designed to be an essential part of an enterprise imaging system, allowing for the aggregation of radiology and pathology images in DICOM format alongside proprietary digital pathology images.
This platform supports standard interfaces for data import and export, including DICOMweb, DICOM DIMSE, and Pathcore’s RESTful interface, ensuring seamless data handling. It also guarantees immutable data storage, allowing users to archive and retrieve DICOM and proprietary Whole Slide Image (WSI) formats without the need for conversions.
