The main interface includes functionalities such as initialization, homing, move profile parameter selection, and position and sensor status checks. The Motion Tuning screen offers access to tuning parameters like PID variables, acceleration and velocity feedforward, and drive circuit current loop tuning, with bi-quad filters configurable as notch or low pass filters.

The Plotting screen allows for the setup of plots using up to four variables, with options for manual or triggered start and stop, unit changes, and series analysis.

Applications of the Motion Synergy API include general automation, metrology, sequential field imaging, TDI imaging with camera capture synchronization, and laser scanning with position-triggered actions.
