Overview

The MicroSpin laboratory centrifuge enhances workflows by integrating seamlessly with Nucleus automation infrastructure work cells, Prime automated liquid handlers, and similar systems. It offers adaptability by accommodating consumables like microplates, deep-well plates, and filtration assemblies. Up to two plates or racks with a maximum vessel height of 65 mm can be processed simultaneously.

Key Features:

  • Adaptive Accommodations: Compatible with a variety of consumables, including racked tubes and vials.
  • Flexible Integration: Can function within a larger automated system or as a standalone unit, ensuring workflow versatility.
  • Hardware Compatibility: Integrates with FlexCart for effective connectivity with Nucleus automation and third-party systems.
  • Effortless Management: Operates via Cellario software for smooth workflow scheduling and device management.
  • High Tolerance: Imbalance tolerance of up to 75 grams, allowing for centrifugation of uneven loads without performance compromise.

The innovative design features a patented easy-access door that supports direct robotic plate loading from various robot designs, enhancing operational accessibility. The centrifuge reaches speeds up to 3000 x g (4729 RPM) and is settable in either RPM or x g to suit protocol preferences.

With dimensions of 381 x 406 x 406 mm and a weight of 43 kg, the MicroSpin is powered at 120/240 VAC 50/60 Hz, with Ethernet connectivity. Although the rotor is not interchangeable, its robustness is ensured by expert service and maintenance support from HighRes technicians.

This integration-ready centrifuge ensures that your laboratory's automation journey is efficient and productive, reducing downtime and enhancing workflow continuity.
