Equipment Management
Software for managing equipment qualification, maintenance, and calibration tasks with simple workflows and inspection readiness.
Overview
The Quality Equipment Management Software is designed to streamline the management of equipment qualification, maintenance, and calibration tasks in life sciences. It utilizes simple workflows to ensure all tasks are organized and inspection-ready.
Planning and tracking maintenance and calibration tasks can be challenging. These tasks must be carefully scheduled, assigned to the appropriate personnel, and documented to ensure compliance and readiness for inspections.
The Scilife Equipment module simplifies these processes. It allows users to register equipment by type, making it easier to add new equipment by configuring types within the module. Users can define equipment types for lab instruments and manufacturing machines, and include details such as manufacturer, supplier, and location. The module also supports linking equipment types to tags used across the Scilife platform, automatically populating fields when new equipment is created based on preconfigured types.
To ensure maintenance is never overlooked, the module facilitates the creation of recurring maintenance and calibration tasks. Users can specify task details, assign responsibilities, set deadlines, and determine task frequency. Autonomic notifications ensure that the right personnel are alerted at the appropriate times.
The module integrates seamlessly with other Scilife modules, allowing users to link non-conformities or deviations from the Events module to specific equipment, maintaining full traceability.
Key Features:
- Register equipment by type with detailed information.
- Create and manage recurring maintenance and calibration tasks.
- Enable autonomic notifications for timely task execution.
- Integrate with other Scilife modules for comprehensive traceability.
Users can upload various file formats, such as doc, pdf, and jpg, to equipment records. Locations can be defined in detail, specifying both overall and sublocations. The module supports different equipment statuses, from creation to QA approval, and allows exporting equipment lists to Excel with customizable columns.
Groups can be used to define visibility and roles related to equipment, and manufacturers can be linked to equipment through the Scilife Contacts feature.
