Biolucida is a comprehensive platform designed for managing and sharing 2D and 3D big image data. It provides a secure, permanent web-accessible storage location for all image data and metadata. This facilitates the organization and sharing of large image collections.
Clients can upload images taken from slide scanners or microscope systems regardless of their size. Biolucida supports robust slide viewing for both large and small images, making it suitable for various research scales, from 10 to 200 studies.

System Requirements
For the Biolucida Viewer, Windows 11, 64-bit OSX 10.9 or later, with at least 6 GB of RAM is needed. The Biolucida Server requires Linux (CentOS 6 or 7) or Windows server 2016, a minimum 4-core processor, and 8 GB of RAM with at least 1 Gbps connectivity.
