Biobook Compact

Compact system for intelligent bioprocessing in biotech, pharma, and food labs, featuring AI automation, plug-and-play setup, and scalable design for various workflows.

Overview

The Biobook Compact is expertly engineered for intelligent bioprocessing, serving biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and food industry laboratories. It efficiently manages research and development processes by bridging the gap between laboratory and pilot-scale operations within a compact design.

This system distinguishes itself from traditional benchtop units that are often bulky and inflexible. Key to its functionality is the Smart-BioFlex™ software, which provides seamless format adaptability and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) upgrade capabilities, making it ideal for labs that emphasize precision, flexibility, and compliance.

Key Features:

  • Plug-and-play simplicity: The unit is preconfigured, pre-validated, and ready to use without delay.
  • Smart-BioFlex™ software: Offers intuitive and powerful functionality with real-time prediction and prevention of process deviations.
  • Versatile applications: Suitable for microbial, mammalian, plant, and synthetic workflows.
  • Scalable design: Supports scaling from 300 mL to 15 L without the need to switch platforms.
  • GMP-ready pathways: Compliance options are built-in, requiring no additional setups.
  • Dual-reactor configuration: Facilitates parallel experimentation to optimize processes faster.
  • AI-based control: Uses predictive automation for optimal growth conditions, minimizing the need for manual adjustments.
  • Integrated I/O slots: Ready for integration with ancillary analyzers and external platforms with minimal setup time.

The system is designed with a focus on advanced bioprocessing, aiming to deliver an accessible bioprocessing experience from the start, whether in a university, biotech startup, or industrial R&D environment. It overcomes the complexities of conventional systems, which often have steep learning curves and complex configuration requirements.
