Overview

Lifebit Rapid Data Products is a curated disease cohort platform designed for life sciences researchers and pharmaceutical organisations who need high-quality, globally diverse patient datasets quickly. Rather than waiting months for data procurement, Lifebit enables teams to access deeply curated, multimodal data with rich phenotypes in minutes, supporting a wide range of research use cases across cardiometabolic, central nervous system, and inflammatory disease areas.

All cohorts are delivered on the same day as contract signature via Lifebit's Federated Platform, a secure and compliant Trusted Research Environment built for high-performance biomedical data analysis. Procurement can be finalised in days rather than months, making Rapid Data Products particularly well suited to teams under time pressure or with specific study timelines.

Cardiometabolic Disease Cohorts

  • NASH / ALD: 13,900 total patients (10,900 SNP; 6,000 WGS). Features multi-year longitudinal liver function data including NFS and FIB-4 scores to characterise rates of liver fibrosis progression.
  • Heart Failure: 12,200 total patients (8,900 SNP; 3,350 WGS). Includes HFpEF and HFrEF classifications supported by detailed echocardiography and BNP measurements, with longitudinal ECHO and BNP data to quantify heart failure progression.
  • Diabetic Nephropathy: 4,000 total patients (4,000 SNP; 600 WGS). Provides up to 50 eGFR measurements per patient over 6–10 years, enabling precise estimation of renal dysfunction progression.

Central Nervous System Disease Cohorts

  • Multiple Sclerosis: 14,000 total patients (13,900 SNP; 9,000 WGS). Cohort is enriched for progressive MS and represents the largest MS population with whole genome sequencing, featuring detailed severity and progression measures.
  • Alzheimer's Disease: 4,500 total patients (600 SNP; 50 WGS). Longitudinal monitoring tracks cognitive measures, activities of daily living (ADL), and neuropsychological function.
  • Parkinson's Disease: 5,900 total patients (1,000 SNP; 750 WGS). Longitudinal monitoring tracks disease progression via multi-timepoint UPDRS, alongside cognitive status (MMSE) and medication burden (LEDD).

Inflammatory Disease Cohorts

  • SLE / Lupus Nephritis: 6,000 total patients (2,500 SNP; 1,000 WGS). Includes extensive eGFR timepoints and renal biomarker data to assess disease progression and identify poor outcomes.
  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease: 5,000 total patients (4,900 SNP; 4,600 WGS). Provides comprehensive treatment histories paired with clearly defined severity subtypes for both Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis.

Accelerated Procurement Process

  1. Select your disease area of interest and your preferred omics type — SNP or whole genome sequencing (WGS).
  2. Choose whether to procure individual patients, a sub-cohort, or a combined disease-area cohort. Combined cohorts include a price discount.
  3. Select your data access duration — available by year or by quarter, with a price discount for yearly commitments.

Platform Capabilities Included at Access

  • Instant access to Lifebit Trusted Research Environment: A secure, compliant workspace designed for high-performance biomedical data analysis.
  • Data and cohort discovery: Explore datasets and build precise patient cohorts using Lifebit's intuitive, fully featured cohort browser.
  • Interactive analysis environments: Run analyses seamlessly across Jupyter Notebook, JupyterLab, RStudio, and Spark-powered workflows.
  • Bring your own apps and tools: Execute custom Nextflow pipelines, containerised applications, or bespoke web applications directly within the environment.
  • Out-of-the-box analytical tools: Access best-in-class analytical modules and visualisation tools ready to use from the moment of login.

For researchers requiring patients with specific inclusion or exclusion criteria, or who wish to explore additional disease areas beyond those listed, Lifebit offers the ability to search its global federated network for further cohorts through a paid search engagement. New sample generation and patient recontact options are also available upon enquiry.
