QP-Lung
AI classification of lung tumor mutational status and immunotherapy response prediction from CT scans.
Overview
QP-Lung® is an AI-based solution developed by Quibim for the analysis of lung tumors using standard-of-care (SoC) CT acquisitions. It is designed to work alongside existing diagnostic techniques to support lung cancer characterization and clinical decision-making.
Many current therapeutic decisions in lung cancer rely on techniques such as next-generation sequencing (NGS) for tumor mutational status and immunohistochemistry (IHC) for PD-L1 fraction assessment. QP-Lung® is being developed as a complementary tool to these approaches, deriving additional information directly from baseline CT scans.
Key Capabilities
- Classification of tumor mutational status from CT scan analysis
- Prediction of response to immune checkpoint inhibitors
- Prediction of overall survival based on baseline CT imaging
- Analysis of lung cancer heterogeneity through imaging data
Intended Use and Integration
- Works in combination with existing diagnostic techniques including NGS and IHC
- Operates on standard-of-care CT acquisitions, requiring no additional imaging protocols
- Aimed at supporting clinical decisions related to lung cancer treatment
QP-Lung® is under development by Quibim as part of its broader portfolio of AI imaging solutions. The tool is intended to augment, rather than replace, established molecular and histological diagnostic methods in oncology workflows.
