A minimalist dollar sign representing pharmaceutical marketing finances.

A coalition of 75 pharmaceutical executives has rallied behind a new marketing operations platform, emphasizing the urgent need for streamlined commercial technology in the life sciences sector. This initiative, revealed at the Doceree Health Decode: The Makers Summit 2026 in New York, seeks to address the inefficiencies caused by fragmented marketing systems.

The executives, representing companies like Sanofi and Bristol Myers Squibb, collectively manage over $40 billion in annual brand spending. They advocate for a unified operating model to replace disparate systems in areas such as targeting, analytics, and compliance. Harshit Jain, CEO of Doceree, remarked that this collective action signifies a pivotal shift in the industry, moving towards co-creating solutions rather than merely requesting improvements from vendors.

The push for modernization comes at a time when many pharmaceutical firms are heavily investing in digital transformation but continue to face significant barriers to effective omnichannel marketing. A recent Boston Consulting Group analysis revealed that while nearly all biopharma leaders recognize the importance of omnichannel capabilities, only a small fraction have fully integrated data platforms to support them. This disconnect results in operational delays and inconsistent metrics across teams.

Doceree’s Daily Command platform aims to unify these fragmented processes into a single interface, enhancing campaign planning, execution, and measurement. By integrating various tools and workflows, it seeks to alleviate the operational burdens that arise from using multiple disconnected systems. As the industry grapples with the challenges of delivering timely and personalized engagement, this initiative represents a crucial step toward more efficient and cohesive marketing strategies.
