Tidalsense Ltd. has successfully secured $19 million in funding to advance its AI-driven diagnostic platform, N-Tidal Diagnose, aimed at detecting chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) swiftly and efficiently.
The N-Tidal Diagnose platform utilizes a handheld device that captures a carbon dioxide breath waveform from users who breathe normally for 75 seconds. This data is then analyzed using artificial intelligence to provide a diagnosis of COPD in as little as five minutes. This innovation represents a significant leap in respiratory diagnostics, offering rapid and non-invasive testing options.
The newly acquired funds will facilitate Tidalsense's efforts to commercialize its technology across the U.K., Ireland, and Europe, while also preparing for entry into the U.S. market. Additionally, the funding will support the expansion of the platform to address other respiratory conditions, such as asthma, potentially broadening its impact in the healthcare landscape.
