T-Mobile U.S.A. has officially launched its global technology centre in Hyderabad, marking a notable expansion of its technological presence beyond the United States.

This new facility underscores Hyderabad's growing reputation as a hub for innovation and investment, particularly in the realm of high-value global capability centres (GCCs). According to Telangana's IT Minister, the centre will not only enhance the state's status but also create a significant number of jobs, with plans to hire around 1,000 employees by 2027.

The Hyderabad centre is designed to function as a strategic innovation hub within T-Mobile's global framework, focusing on areas such as software engineering, DevOps, product development, data analytics, cybersecurity, and advanced digital solutions. This initiative is expected to bolster the company's technological capabilities and improve customer experiences through scalable solutions.

With over 450 GCCs already operating in Hyderabad and employing around 300,000 professionals, the region is well-equipped with a diverse talent pool. The establishment of T-Mobile's centre is a testament to the city's ability to attract and nurture world-class talent across various sectors, including telecom, AI, and life sciences, thereby reinforcing its position as a critical player in the global technology landscape.
