Novogene Europe has enhanced its single-cell RNA sequencing capabilities at the Cambridge Omics Centre, making advanced sequencing workflows more accessible to researchers in the UK.
This expansion leverages Novogene's expertise in single-cell analysis, integrating specialized project support, sequencing technologies, and bioinformatics to facilitate deeper biological insights from complex samples. The service addresses the increasing demand for single-cell transcriptomics, enabling researchers to investigate cellular diversity and identify rare cell populations that play crucial roles in biological processes.
Building on its recent launch of an Untargeted Metabolomics Service, this initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance multiomics capabilities at the Cambridge site. The focus is on 3′ gene expression analysis using high-throughput Illumina sequencing and GEM-X chemistry, with comprehensive support for various research fields, including oncology, immunology, and drug discovery.
As Tingting Zhou, VP of Novogene Europe, noted, the advancement in single-cell sequencing allows for a more nuanced understanding of complex biological systems, reinforcing the importance of local support for UK researchers in various scientific domains.
