This update follows the successful launch of autoSCORE with Natus NeuroWorks EEG Software in the U.S. in August 2024, and its subsequent CE mark approval for international markets in March. The incorporation of this AI tool is part of Natus's ongoing commitment to advancing neurodiagnostic technologies, aiming to provide high-quality EEG reviews that are both efficient and clinically rigorous.
According to Cristiano Rizzo, General Manager of Natus EMEA/APAC, the autoSCORE tool is a significant advancement in digital neurodiagnostics, enhancing the capabilities of neurologists and allowing them to focus more on patient care rather than manual analysis. The AI model, trained on 30,000 EEG recordings, automates the identification of various clinical abnormalities, offering a comprehensive assessment of EEG studies.
