MediElaj, an innovative healthcare initiative, has successfully secured $100,000 in funding to develop AI-driven healthcare kiosks aimed at underserved regions. This marks a significant step in enhancing access to primary healthcare services.
The startup, MedPredict Private Limited, is focused on creating a comprehensive AI healthcare ecosystem, which includes smart diagnostic kiosks and a mobile application. Founders have also contributed nearly $500,000 of their own funds to build the necessary technology infrastructure and operational capabilities.
MediElaj's mission is to decentralize healthcare access, particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, as well as rural areas in India. The platform aims to provide at-home, AI-assisted health screenings and non-invasive health measurements, along with conversational support for health-related queries and access to digital health records.
According to Debjit Patra, Founder & Chairman, the vision is for MediElaj to become a leading platform for affordable and scalable healthcare delivery, ultimately bringing intelligent healthcare support closer to millions in underserved communities. This initiative reflects a growing trend in leveraging technology to enhance healthcare accessibility and preventive care.
