MedGenome has announced a strategic collaboration with Siddhi Diagnostics & Research Centre (SDRC) to enhance access to integrated diagnostics in the suburban areas of Mumbai. This partnership aims to combine genomics with advanced imaging technologies, thereby improving precision diagnostics in regions that traditionally lack such resources.

MedGenome, known for its focus on genomics-driven diagnostics, is poised to strengthen its presence in the Mumbai suburbs through this collaboration. SDRC, founded in 1995, has established a solid reputation in diagnostic imaging, offering a wide range of services including MRI, CT scans, and more. With five centers located in key suburban areas, SDRC has been instrumental in providing advanced diagnostic services to clinicians and patients alike.

Surajit Chakrabartty, CFO of MedGenome, highlighted the partnership's commitment to affordable and accurate diagnostics, emphasizing the integration of structural and molecular insights to enhance clinical decision-making. Ajit Pungavkar, SDRC's founder, noted the limitations of imaging alone in diagnosing complex conditions and expressed optimism that combining imaging with genomic data will lead to better diagnostic interpretations. Sona Pungavkar, SDRC's Co-founder, pointed out the increasing importance of integrated diagnostics and AI in modern healthcare.

This collaboration not only signifies an innovative approach to diagnostics but also reflects a growing trend in the healthcare industry towards integrating various technologies to improve patient outcomes. The partnership is expected to pave the way for more comprehensive diagnostic solutions in high-growth suburban markets.
