L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has unveiled a new AI-driven digital twin platform aimed at enhancing precision diagnostics, particularly in the field of medical imaging.
This innovative platform merges LTTS’ MedTech expertise with NVIDIA's advanced AI infrastructure, facilitating improved diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes. A key feature is the lung digital twin solution, which integrates seamlessly with CT imaging workflows. Utilizing deep learning models, it creates a detailed 3D representation of lung anatomy, including critical structures like airways and blood vessels. This immersive digital environment allows clinicians to visualize patient-specific lung conditions and effectively plan interventions such as bronchoscopy and biopsies.
The platform leverages NVIDIA's Physical AI infrastructure, including technologies like Omniverse, TensorRT, and MONAI, to transform traditional CT data into interactive tools for clinicians. Amit Chadha, CEO of LTTS, emphasized the potential of this platform to revolutionize how healthcare professionals visualize and interact with lung anatomy, ultimately enhancing precision medicine. David Niewolny from NVIDIA highlighted the growing significance of digital twins in the precision medicine landscape, underscoring their role in enabling more confident clinical decision-making.
This advancement not only positions LTTS at the forefront of medical technology but also signals a broader trend towards integrating AI in healthcare, promising to reshape clinical practices in the coming years.
