Innovaccer has entered into a strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enhance the deployment of agentic AI in healthcare settings.
This multi-year agreement focuses on bridging the gap between pilot AI projects and full-scale production deployments that adhere to healthcare's stringent security and compliance standards. Innovaccer plans to leverage AWS services, including Amazon Bedrock for model access and agent development, as well as AWS HealthLake for FHIR-native data access, to scale its AI workloads effectively.
The partnership also aims to streamline procurement processes by expanding the AWS Marketplace, allowing health systems and payers to acquire AI solutions more efficiently. This initiative is designed to reduce the time required for deployment and improve the transition from initial implementation to measurable outcomes, as validated by Community Care of North Carolina, which oversees care for over one million lives.
Abhinav Shashank, CEO of Innovaccer, emphasized the importance of reliable infrastructure for AI agents to operate effectively within healthcare environments.
