Innovaccer has announced the acquisition of CaduceusHealth, enhancing its AI-driven revenue cycle management (RCM) platform.
This acquisition is Innovaccer's fifth in two years, aimed at bolstering its Flow platform with outsourced RCM, medical billing, and clinical staffing services. By integrating CaduceusHealth's extensive operational data, Innovaccer seeks to improve automation and mitigate administrative inefficiencies in healthcare billing processes.
CaduceusHealth, established in 1997, serves nearly 4,000 healthcare providers and processes around $5 billion in patient charges annually. The integration of its resources into Innovaccer’s platform will enable a more cohesive system that combines appointment scheduling, patient engagement, and billing operations, tailored for ambulatory healthcare providers.
Innovaccer aims to tackle significant issues in the healthcare sector, such as the $20 billion annual cost of insurance claim denials. The company believes that this acquisition will transform revenue cycle management by streamlining payer processes and enhancing billing accuracy through AI-driven workflows.
This move underscores the growing trend of healthcare providers investing in advanced technologies to reduce administrative burdens and enhance financial outcomes, positioning Innovaccer as a key player in the healthcare AI and automation landscape.
