Bengaluru-based Immuneel Therapeutics has successfully raised over INR 100 crore in its Series B funding round, with backing from both existing and new investors. This funding is set to enhance their manufacturing capabilities, advance their therapy pipeline, and facilitate entry into international markets.

The funding round attracted notable participation from new investors, including Singularity AMC and Rainmatter by Zerodha, alongside continued support from existing investors like Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw and F-Prime Capital. The capital will primarily be allocated to scaling up Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facilities, enabling broader access to advanced therapies in India and beyond.

A significant aspect of this funding will focus on the commercialization of Qartemi, Immuneel’s approved CAR-T therapy for Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, with plans to expand treatment availability in emerging healthcare markets. Additionally, the company is seeking to establish partnerships for clinical co-development in regions such as Australia and Southeast Asia, enhancing its footprint in the global cell therapy landscape.

With India’s first internationally benchmarked CAR-T platform, Immuneel aims to deliver advanced therapies at lower costs compared to Western markets. CEO Amit Mookim emphasized that this funding will expedite their international expansion and the development of next-generation therapies, aiming to transform patient access to cell therapies worldwide.
