Bengaluru-based Hoola Health has secured $5 million in funding to enhance its child-focused healthcare services across India.

The startup, formerly known as BabyMD, aims to utilize this investment to broaden its network of pediatric clinics, improve its technology infrastructure, and scale its integrated care offerings. The funding round was led by Peak XV’s Surge, with contributions from existing investor W Health Ventures and several angel investors.

Hoola Health operates a comprehensive pediatric service model that combines offline clinics with 24/7 AI-assisted access to medical professionals. This approach focuses on specialized areas of child development, including behavioral health, addressing the fragmented nature of pediatric care in India. Founder Deeksha Senguttuvan emphasized the need for a streamlined experience for parents, who often face challenges navigating healthcare systems for routine care.

Since launching its first clinic in 2024, Hoola Health has expanded to five locations in Bengaluru, serving over 20,000 families in just 18 months. The company plans to establish an additional 30 clinics in major cities like Hyderabad and Delhi NCR over the next two years, initially strengthening its foothold in Bengaluru. This growth strategy reflects a significant opportunity to enhance pediatric healthcare accessibility in India.
