HistoIndex is enhancing its presence in the U.S. by forming new partnerships with hepatology and gastroenterology centers, aiming to improve liver diagnostics through AI technology.

The company has added the Houston Research Institute (HRI) Kingwood and Knowledge Research Center (KRC) in Orange, California, to its growing network of clinical partners. This expansion is designed to bolster the efficiency and consistency of liver disease diagnostics, particularly for chronic liver conditions. HistoIndex's services are set to roll out across the HRI network by late 2025, which is expected to streamline workflows, enhance diagnostic accuracy, and improve patient outcomes.

Dr. Mazen Noureddin from HRI emphasized the operational benefits of integrating HistoIndex's AI solutions, noting improvements in biopsy processing and interpretation consistency. This integration is anticipated to lead to greater diagnostic confidence and better patient care. Similarly, the partnership with KRC will bring HistoIndex's innovative diagnostic capabilities to the U.S. West Coast, further broadening access to advanced liver disease diagnostics.

These collaborations highlight HistoIndex's dedication to enhancing diagnostic standards in Metabolic Dysfunction-associated Steatohepatitis (MASH) and reflect a significant move towards more objective, quantitative approaches in liver disease management. As AI continues to transform healthcare, such partnerships may pave the way for improved clinical practices and patient outcomes in the field.
