GE HealthCare has announced a significant leadership restructuring, introducing a new segment called Advanced Imaging Solutions (AIS) to enhance its global growth strategy through AI-driven innovations.

The newly formed AIS segment consolidates Imaging and Advanced Visualization Solutions into a unified $14.6 billion division. This restructuring aims to streamline operations and foster innovation across imaging modalities such as MRI, CT, ultrasound, and molecular imaging. Phil Rackliffe has been appointed as President and CEO of AIS, bringing extensive experience in AI-powered imaging systems, which aligns with the company's focus on creating a more integrated healthcare ecosystem.

Additionally, Catherine Estrampes has been designated Chief Commercial and Growth Officer, responsible for enhancing market coordination across regions outside of China. This new commercial structure is expected to improve the delivery of GE HealthCare’s offerings to providers globally.

GE HealthCare's restructuring is part of a broader strategy to integrate smart technologies and digital platforms, leveraging AI and cloud infrastructure to deliver personalized healthcare.
