FUJIFILM India has launched its first AI-driven digital mammography system, AMULET SOPHINITY, at NM Medical in Mumbai, marking a significant advancement in diagnostic imaging technology in the region.
This innovative system combines AI capabilities with high-definition imaging to enhance the mammography experience for both patients and healthcare professionals. Key features include a 50 μm direct conversion detector that offers high-resolution images while minimizing radiation exposure, and tomosynthesis imaging available in both Standard and High-Resolution modes, which aids in better lesion visibility and diagnostic confidence.
The AMULET SOPHINITY is designed with patient comfort in mind, featuring a thinner, curved-edge detector that alleviates abdominal pressure, making it more accommodating for diverse body types and wheelchair users. Additionally, its Comfort Comp technology automatically adjusts compression pressure, enhancing the overall patient experience during screenings.
Fujifilm aims to streamline workflows in diagnostic settings with its integrated REiLI Medical AI technologies, which optimize exposure based on breast composition and assist in positioning for consistent imaging results. This compact system is expected to improve operational efficiency in busy healthcare environments, supporting the delivery of high-quality care.
This launch not only underscores FUJIFILM's commitment to enhancing healthcare in India but also reflects a broader trend towards integrating advanced technologies in medical diagnostics, promising improved patient outcomes and accessibility in breast cancer screening.
