Faridabad-based startup MedPredict has successfully raised $100,000 to enhance its AI-driven healthcare kiosks aimed at underserved communities. This funding will facilitate various aspects of product development, including the prototyping of kiosks and the integration of healthcare devices.

Founded in mid-2023 by Debjit Patra and Umesh Khatri, MedPredict is focused on developing its flagship platform, MediElaj, which offers AI-assisted diagnostic solutions. The startup has also invested approximately $500,000 of its own funds to establish its technology and operational capabilities.

MediElaj aims to create a connected healthcare ecosystem through smart kiosks and mobile applications that provide at-home health screenings and non-invasive measurements. This integrated approach is designed to enhance early diagnosis and preventive care, particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, thereby reducing the necessity for patients to travel to urban centers for healthcare services.

Looking ahead, MedPredict plans to expand its manufacturing capabilities and establish a robust national deployment strategy. The founders envision MediElaj as a leading platform for accessible healthcare, emphasizing the importance of reaching rural and underserved populations in India and beyond.
