Aidoc, a clinical AI firm specializing in medical imaging, has successfully raised $150 million in a Series E funding round, increasing its total funding to over $500 million. This financial boost will help the company expand its innovative aiOS platform, which is designed to enhance diagnostic accuracy and streamline workflows in healthcare.

Aidoc's aiOS integrates and analyzes medical imaging data to identify diagnostic errors and highlight abnormalities. It supports various clinical solutions across radiology, cardiology, and other specialties, providing real-time alerts for urgent cases and facilitating communication among departments through a mobile imaging viewer. The company boasts 17 FDA-cleared algorithms, including its advanced CARE model, which recently gained clearance for 11 acute conditions, marking a significant regulatory milestone.

The new capital will enable Aidoc to further develop the CARE model, enhancing its capabilities and expanding its clinical applications, such as automating the creation of imaging draft reports. The funding will also support the global rollout of the aiOS platform, aiming to improve diagnostic processes significantly.

Elad Walach, co-founder and CEO, emphasized the company's commitment to integrating AI into complex diagnostic decisions by 2030, aiming to enhance early detection and minimize preventable errors. This funding reflects a broader trend in digital health, with AI becoming increasingly central to healthcare solutions, as highlighted by recent reports indicating substantial investment in AI-driven technologies.
