Caristo Diagnostics has announced the appointment of David Vort as Chief Commercial Officer and Chris Louk as Chief Financial Officer, aiming to enhance the global adoption of its AI-driven cardiovascular technologies.
These strategic appointments come as Caristo seeks to expand its leadership team to better facilitate the growth of its innovative cardiovascular solutions. CEO Steve Deitsch emphasized the significance of these hires, noting Vort's extensive experience in building commercial organizations within the medtech sector and Louk's strong financial acumen. Vort previously led commercialization efforts at Cytovale and iRhythm Technologies, while Louk has a background in healthcare investment banking, having worked on major transactions in the medtech space.
Caristo's flagship products, including CaRi-Plaque™ and CaRi-Heart®, are gaining traction in various markets. CaRi-Plaque™, which received FDA clearance in 2025, is already being utilized in U.S. healthcare facilities, while CaRi-Heart® is available in several countries, although still under investigation in the U.S.
This expansion of the executive team is poised to accelerate Caristo's mission of improving early detection of cardiovascular diseases, ultimately aiming to save lives through advanced technology and personalized prevention strategies. As the company continues to innovate, these leadership changes may play a crucial role in navigating the complexities of the global healthcare landscape.
