Cardiolife has formed a significant partnership with Bhutan's Ministry of Health to implement its AI-driven ECG diagnostics system nationwide, aiming to enhance cardiac care and preventive health measures in the country.

This initiative comes at a crucial time, as cardiac diseases are among the leading health challenges in Bhutan, which has a population of over 700,000. The Health Minister, Lyonpo Tandin Wangchuk, has officially endorsed this collaboration, emphasizing the importance of early detection and prevention in combating cardiovascular diseases. Cardiolife's solution will be made available at 25 health facilities, including hospitals at various levels, ensuring broad access to advanced cardiac care.

Cardiolife's AI technology is designed to provide rapid and accurate ECG analysis, which aids clinicians in diagnosing heart conditions more effectively. The company’s CEO, Kristin Lied, highlighted that this partnership is not merely about technology but about saving lives and establishing a sustainable health infrastructure in Bhutan.

In addition to the rollout, the collaboration includes a joint operational research study aimed at validating the ECG model within the Bhutanese population, further enhancing the nation’s digital health capabilities. This partnership illustrates Bhutan's commitment to integrating innovative healthcare solutions and underscores the potential for AI in improving public health outcomes.
