Autocrypt and HEM Pharma have joined forces to enhance the security of the BIGNAL platform, a big data-driven physical AI system designed for personalized healthcare.

Autocrypt, known for its expertise in automotive cybersecurity, is now venturing into the realm of physical AI security. The company has restructured its Future Mobility Center into a dedicated Physical AI Security Research Center, focusing on sectors such as robotics, defense, and bio-healthcare. This collaboration with HEM Pharma marks Autocrypt's inaugural foray into the biopharmaceutical sector, emphasizing its commitment to expanding security solutions in this field.

HEM Pharma specializes in developing personalized healthcare technologies that leverage microbiome and metabolite analysis. Utilizing AI algorithms, including a notable engine created in collaboration with Harvard Medical School, the company has advanced its capabilities in analyzing the relationship between biometric signals and gut microbiota. The BIGNAL platform, which the partnership aims to secure, is subscription-based and continuously monitors biometric signals, necessitating robust security due to the sensitive nature of the long-term health data it collects.

Through this partnership, Autocrypt will implement its "Security by Design" approach throughout the BIGNAL platform's lifecycle, enhancing security from data collection to analysis. The collaboration will also involve the establishment of a joint security design framework, ensuring that security measures are integrated at every stage of new device and service development, thereby fortifying the platform against potential threats.

This strategic partnership highlights the growing intersection of cybersecurity and healthcare technology, underscoring the importance of safeguarding personal health data in an increasingly digital landscape.
