Assort Health has successfully secured $120 million in Series C funding, elevating its valuation to $1.2 billion, aimed at enhancing its AI-driven patient access platform.

This recent funding round, led by Menlo Ventures, brings Assort Health's total capital raised to over $222 million. The investment will facilitate the company's expansion into enterprise health systems and academic medical centers, responding to the growing need for healthcare automation solutions.

Assort Health's platform aims to optimize patient access by integrating various functions such as scheduling, insurance verification, and payment processing into a seamless AI-supported workflow. Central to this offering is Synapse, an AI model trained on extensive patient interaction data, which is designed to handle complex clinical workflows in specialties like orthopedics and neurology.

The platform features four primary modules that manage patient communications, proactive outreach, administrative tasks, and operational insights. A standout feature is the Patient Journey Memory layer, which retains patient context across multiple interactions, minimizing the need for patients to repeat information.

This funding comes on the heels of Assort's impressive 20x revenue growth in the past 15 months and its expansion into larger health systems, such as John Muir Health. The integration of Assort's AI agents with existing healthcare infrastructure has reportedly boosted administrative efficiency and increased appointment volumes, underscoring the platform's potential impact on healthcare delivery.
