Andhra Pradesh is poised to host a significant event focused on AI in healthcare, featuring a strategic partners’ conclave and the MedTech Challenge finale in Mangalagiri.

This event will gather around 300 participants, including start-ups, government officials, and industry experts, to discuss the implementation of AI services in public healthcare. The conclave will highlight pilot projects showcasing the use of AI in government hospitals, with start-ups demonstrating their innovations and sharing insights on enhancing patient care through technology.

A key moment of the event will be the announcement of winners for the MedTech Challenge, where Health Minister Y Satya Kumar Yadav will award cash prizes. Eighteen start-ups competed in various categories, including diagnostic tools and telemedicine, as part of the AP MedTech Innovation Challenge.

Over the course of the challenge, these start-ups provided healthcare services to 15,000 patients, focusing on critical areas such as TB detection and cardiac monitoring. This initiative underscores the growing integration of AI in healthcare, highlighting its potential to improve patient outcomes and streamline medical processes.
